SOS Children’s Villages

Thanks to the new supplier, we will be able to save more than 360,000 CZK per year. In the year 2014, the amount can be used to cover five months’ costs of our services for families in difficult life situations, at the risk of being separated from their children. LAMA Energy has also decided to increase this amount with an annual donation of 280,000 CZK. This money will go to help about 50 children in the Přerov region. LAMA Energy customers can also contribute.

"We are very glad to be able to save the association several hundreds of thousands of Czech crowns on gas and electricity bills and we hope that our customers will also want to contribute to a good cause”  - Proxy holder -  Pavel Stuchlík.

  • collection of used bicycles from public donors in the Czech Republic;
  • collection of new or dispensable but functioning spare parts and bike tools;
  • cooperation with the English organization, Jole Rider, on a training program for local bike mechanics in Africa (ensuring the sustainability of the provided aid);
  • running charity shops in the Czech Republic raising free funds, especially for the transportation of the donated bikes to Africa, to the schools, which allocate the bikes to the children according to the agreed criteria.
